I thought I better say something Emusic is amazing. After Slashdot pointed me in the direction of a round up of online music stores I was astonished by the goodness of Emusic. Previously Itunes has been my home of buying music online but £0.79 a track its really expensive!
Emusic.com is totally the reverse. They provide get sounding mp3 encoded without DRM and at variable bit rate. Also the price is amazing cheap, you get 50 free songs for simply signing up. Of course, I decided to sign up! Now I get 90 songs for $19.99 a month, amazing!
Downloaded Harold Budd, Brian Eno, John Cale, Sally Oldfield, John Coltrane, Cocteau Twins, Pharoah Saunders, and loads more. Only thing is I've ran out of credits, and I have to wait almost a whole month before my 90 songs come around again! Not to worry, having 140 new songs to listen is amazing. That will satisfy my appetite till next month.
