New blog, entry and the first one is ages. Besides being really busy with my degree. Which I'll hopefully be completing around about the end of May. Over than that AROS has been my toy of late.

AROS is new version of the classic Amiga OS. Its has actually going quite complete in comparison, but requires so more work to bring it upto todays standards. That aside its almost useful enough to run quite often. Just need a web browser, email client, and perhaps an ftp one as well. But the way things have been progressing recently, I'm sure those hurdles like others will be surmounted sooner rather than later.

I've been learning about the system, as I haven't used the Amiga is many years. One thing is for sure, its good to get back into the swing of things. Can't wait until I can program some applications. This brings me onto another point, where would one start developing AROS applications. I mean useful ones, people would be thankful for. I've some ideas;

Simple blogging tool
Gui mp3 player
Revision tool for memorization
Not taking applications, much like iOrganize for the OS X

Some thing to think about while I try to understand the aros build process, and Zune.

That looks like a good place to start.
